The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has launched a pilot project introducing photo and video recording of quality control procedures during the acceptance of logistics supplies for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

This was reported on the official website of the Ministry of Defense.

Quality control will now be carried out using portable video recorders — body cameras — used by representatives of state quality assurance bodies during product inspections.

The Ministry of Defense notes that the introduction of photo and video recording aims to ensure objectivity and transparency of acceptance procedures, as well as to create an evidentiary base in case of disputes during the execution of supply contracts.

As emphasized by Colonel Yevhen Krasnikov, Head of the Main Directorate of State Quality Assurance, the use of body cameras corresponds to modern approaches to quality assurance systems and will help increase the responsibility of all participants in the logistics supply process.

The obtained photo and video materials will be used exclusively to document quality control results and to substantiate decisions made based on those results.
