Ukraine, together with Germany, is expanding production of the multipurpose UAV “Linza”, which combines tactical reconnaissance and target engagement on the battlefield.
This was reported by the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
Within the Build with Ukraine initiative, the Ukrainian company Frontline Robotics, together with Germany’s Quantum Systems, is scaling up serial production of the Linza UAV.
The drone is equipped with a gyrostabilized camera with digital zoom and can carry up to 2 kg of payload over a distance of up to 10 km. According to the Ministry of Defense, the drone is designed for:
A remote antenna allows the operator to work from cover, reducing risks for crews and increasing UAV unit survivability.
The Ministry of Defense recalled that Ukraine’s Minister of Defense Denys Shmyhal previously announced the signing of new agreements with German partners worth over €1.2 billion.
In addition, thanks to agreements between President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, Germany committed to allocate €11.5 billion in 2026 to support Ukraine, including in the fields of security and defense capabilities.
The Ministry of Defense emphasizes that scaling up Linza production is part of a broader strategy to strengthen the technological advantage of Ukraine’s Defense Forces at the tactical level.
