On the night of December 24, Russian troops attempted to cross the Siverskyi Donets River, but were stopped by Ukrainian airborne troops.

This was reported on the page of the 81st Separate Airmobile Slobozhanska Brigade of the 7th Air Assault Corps.

“Tonight, on 24.12.2025, the enemy once again attempted to cross the Siverskyi Donets River, however, UAV units of the 81st Separate Airmobile Brigade detected and destroyed a motorized rubber boat in time, thereby preventing the landing of infantry on the shore”, — the statement said.
