The 14th Separate Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) Regiment has been transformed into the 1st Separate Unmanned Systems Center — a unit that concentrates experience, innovation, and strategic thinking in the employment of unmanned systems.
This was reported by the Unmanned Systems Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Thus, within the structure of the USF, the transition of one of the key units to a new level has been completed. The 1st Separate Unmanned Systems Center of the USF is now a new link in the system of the Unmanned Systems Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, growing out of the combat experience of the 14th UAS Regiment of the USF.
“For us, the transition to the 1st Separate Center is not a change of name, but the completion of an evolution. We emerged at a time when the rules of war had not yet been defined, and from the very first days we worked not as a unit, but as a system — with analytics, technological sophistication, and responsibility at the core of every decision”, — said the regiment’s founder, Borys Martynenko, call sign “Fidel”.
