The situation on the Pokrovsk axis is intense. In Pokrovsk itself, the enemy has become bogged down in urban fighting. Currently, the line of combat contact runs along the railway line, as this is an open area where the enemy has no cover.
This was stated on the air of “Suspilne.News” by Artem Pribylnov, an officer of the communications unit of the 155th Separate Mechanized Brigade “Anna of Kyiv”.
According to him, the enemy is now using combined methods. Both mechanized attacks and continuous infantry assaults are ongoing. The enemy’s logic is simple — it presses with mass and does not count losses, trying to destabilize the defense and create conditions for further advance and entry into operational space.
“The main thing now is not to allow our observation posts and positions to be detected. Because once the enemy detects a position, they immediately send around 20 FPV drones. They strike the position as soon as it is identified. They also direct artillery and mortars; a guided aerial bomb may arrive as well. That is, once the enemy detects a position, it tries to completely destroy it, grind it into concrete”, — the officer said.
The enemy is desperately trying to break into Pokrovsk. For the Russians, it is the ‘key’ to further infiltration northward. The defense is now very flexible, and logistics plays a crucial role.
“Logistics will never look the way it did six months ago. About 50 percent of deliveries are now carried out using UAVs — heavy bombers and FPVs. Twenty percent are UGS, and everything else is standard — on foot or with light vehicles. All of this is due to the fact that in 2025, the word of the year is ‘kill zone.’ It works for both us and the enemy”, — Artem Pribylnov noted.
