On the night of December 19, the enemy attacked with 160 strike UAVs of the Shahed type, “Gerbera”, and drones of other types, about 90 of them being Shahed-type.
This was reported by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The attack was launched from the directions of Oryol, Kursk, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, Bryansk, Millerovo (Russia), and Hvardiiske (temporarily occupied territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea).
The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare units and unmanned systems units, as well as mobile fire groups of the Defense Forces of Ukraine.
According to preliminary data, as of 08:00, air defense forces shot down or suppressed 108 enemy UAVs of the Shahed type, “Gerbera”, and drones of other types in the south and east of the country.
Hits by 47 strike UAVs were recorded at 23 locations.
