In the Lyman sector, units of the Third Army Corps jointly with the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine (HUR) conducted a series of coordinated assault operations, as a result of which a regiment of the Russian army was destroyed, the front line was leveled, and the tactical position of Ukrainian forces was improved.
This is stated in the description of a video published on the official page of the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine.
According to the publication, the joint actions of the units deprived the enemy of the ability to maneuver in this area and created prerequisites for further decisions by the Ukrainian command. In addition to the elimination of an entire regiment, a significant number of Russian servicemen were taken prisoner.
Commander of the Third Army Corps Andrii Biletskyi noted that the achieved result is a continuation of a long-standing combat tradition of cooperation between units:
“Together with HUR, we achieved an operational-tactical result in the Lyman sector. This is a continuation of the tradition dating back to the liberation of Moshchun and the helicopter breakthrough to Mariupol — to shoulder a brotherly support for one another. I am grateful for the exemplary cooperation”.
Commander of the HUR special unit “ARTAN”, Viktor Torkotiuk, emphasized that the key factor of success was the actions of the personnel:
“This is primarily the merit of the fighters and combat commanders who find solutions to any task”.
The video shows the combat work of units of the 3rd Separate Reconnaissance Battalion of the Third Army Corps, the 2nd Mechanized Battalion of the Third Assault Brigade, the “FATUM” group of the 60th Separate Mechanized Brigade, as well as the HUR MO special unit “ARTAN”.
