Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with Ukrainian soldiers who are recovering from their injuries at the Dutch military rehabilitation center in Aardenburg.
The President reported this on the evening of December 16.
The medical facility specializes in the rehabilitation of servicemembers with severe injuries and is one of the leading centers in the Netherlands.
A total of 87 Ukrainians have undergone treatment there since 2021.
“I thank the staff of the center, the Netherlands, and the entire Dutch people for supporting Ukraine and helping our warriors.
I spoke with the servicemembers and their families. Thank you for your service and for defending Ukraine. We are proud to have such heroes, such fighters. I awarded the defenders with the Orders ‘For Courage’ of the II and III degrees and the Medal ‘For Military Service to Ukraine’.
This is gratitude from the entire Ukrainian people for what the warriors have already done — for preserving Ukraine”, — Volodymyr Zelenskyy noted.
