Over the past day, Russian invaders lost 1,730 military personnel killed and wounded, as well as 409 pieces of equipment.

This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on December 17.

The total combat losses of the enemy from February 24, 2022, to December 17, 2025, are estimated as follows:

  • personnel — approximately 1,192,350 (+1,730)

  • tanks — 11,427 (+6)

  • armored combat vehicles — 23,758 (+21)

  • artillery systems — 35,205 (+33)

  • multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS) — 1,571 (+1)

  • air defense systems — 1,262 (+1)

  • aircraft — 432 (+0)

  • helicopters — 347 (+0)

  • operational-tactical UAVs — 91,386 (+167)

  • cruise missiles — 4,073 (+0)

  • ships / boats — 28 (+0)

  • submarines — 2 (+0)

  • automotive vehicles and fuel tankers — 70,361 (+179)

  • special equipment — 4,027 (+1)
