Operators of the 3rd Special Operations Forces Regiment conducted training in close-quarters combat (CQB). During the exercises, the unit practiced maneuvering, additional reconnaissance, and assaulting a simulated settlement.
This was reported by the 3rd Separate SOF Regiment named after Prince Sviatoslav the Brave, which released footage of the combat training.
According to the exercise scenario, the group operated in a multi-level environment — underground, on the ground, in the air, and on building floors. Special attention was paid to space control, intra-group coordination, and rapid response to threats from various directions.
The deputy detachment commander, call sign “Tysa”, emphasized that CQB is one of the most complex forms of combat due to the high density of threats and minimal time for decision-making. In confined spaces, every movement and angle matters, and a mistake is extremely costly.
The regiment notes that regular CQB training builds cohesion and allows operators to act effectively in the dynamic conditions of urban environments.
