On December 16, another meeting of the Ukraine Defense Contact Group (Ramstein format) will take place.
This was reported on NATO’s website.
The meeting will be held online, with NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte participating.
It is noted that on December 15, the NATO Secretary General was in Berlin, where he took part in a meeting with President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy, European leaders, and a U.S. delegation regarding a potential agreement to end the war.
The previous Ramstein meeting took place on October 15, after which new contributions to the PURL initiative totaling at least $422 million were announced. More than half of NATO member states have already made or pledged contributions to PURL.
It was also announced that, together with the Nordic countries, the Scandinavian-Baltic initiative to train and equip Defense Forces personnel was launched.
