President Volodymyr Zelensky thanked the soldiers of the Ukrainian Ground Forces, all defenders — men and women — for their service, endurance, strength of spirit, and for being a reliable shield when the country needs it most.
This was stated in his message.
As he noted, the Day of the Ground Forces is a day of hundreds of thousands of heroic warriors who constitute a key element of our army’s combat power.
“Mechanized, tank, and missile troops, artillery, army aviation, air defence, territorial defence brigades — everyone who together holds the front and keeps the enemy beyond the front line. Glory to you, warriors! Glory to Ukraine!” — the Head of State wrote.
