In his evening address, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy spoke about the diplomatic work carried out, particularly regarding the twenty points aimed at ending the war, strengthening the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and announcing new sanctions against the aggressor.

The Head of State published the address on social media.

“Today was a very busy day, and the next days will also be significant. We spoke with the American team on the economic track, on the track of reconstruction”, — Volodymyr Zelenskyy said.

The President thanked the representatives of the American side for their full constructiveness.

“An important shared principle is that the reconstruction must be of high quality, and economic growth after this war must be tangible. Real security must be at the foundation”, — the Head of State stated.

Zelenskyy also noted that the 20 points for ending the war constitute a fundamental document.

“From this document we develop two more documents — at least two. And the first of them is the security one, concerning security guarantees for Ukraine with the United States. Also an economic one — on reconstruction and joint investments”, — the President said.

According to Zelenskyy, today the parties worked specifically on the economic document.

“And together with me, on the Ukrainian side, were Ukrainian officials: Prime Minister of Ukraine Yuliia Svyrydenko, Deputy Prime Minister Kachka, Ministers Sybiha and Soboliv, First Deputy Foreign Minister Kyslytsia. Our defenders are also represented in all discussions. Today, General Hnatov was with us during the economic conversation”, — the President said.

According to the Head of State, the principles of the economic document are fully understood.

“Everything is clear with the American side. I want to thank them for today’s meeting in video format”, — the message reads.

Zelenskyy also announced a plan of economic measures.

“Europe will also join us in reconstruction. Definitely. In the near future, we are planning work on the two other documents as well”, — the President stated.

He also said that a meeting of the Coalition of the Willing will be held tomorrow.

“More than 30 states are working together with Ukraine for security. Next week we will coordinate with Europe and also in bilateral formats”, — the Head of State said.

In addition, Volodymyr Zelenskyy reported on the strengthening of Ukraine’s Defense Forces.

“Today we have reinforcement for our combat aviation. Thank you. The details are not yet public, but we are constantly adding strength in the sky”, — the statement says.

Sanctions pressure on Russia remains relevant, and the President noted that work in this direction is ongoing.

“Today there is an additional sanctions step in Europe. There will be more sanctions against Russian tankers and against the entire infrastructure of transporting Russian oil”, — the Head of State said.

The President also announced a Ukrainian sanctions package targeting the tanker fleet that supports the war. It will be presented in December.

“And we will expand this pressure in joint formats with our partners”, — Zelenskyy announced.

He also noted that new steps will be taken against Russian propagandists.

In addition, today the Head of State heard a report from the Head of the Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine, including on the enemy’s economic situation and Russia’s growing dependence on China.

“In Russian history, no one has ever surrendered sovereignty so much in favor of China or any other stronger nation. It’s phenomenal how much Putin is paying just to avoid ending this war. But the world still has enough strength to end this war, to force Russia to do so”, — the message states.

“Peace is needed. I want to thank everyone who helps”, — Volodymyr Zelenskyy said.
