President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi reported on the results of discussions regarding the work of the negotiating team after meetings in London at the level of national security advisers from European states.
He stated this in his address.
According to the Head of State, the Ukrainian side, together with its European partners, has already made significant progress in developing components of possible steps that may form the basis for ending Russian aggression. Ukraine is preparing to present these proposals to the United States.
Cooperation with the American side
The President emphasized that Kyiv and Washington are working to ensure that the proposed solutions are as effective as possible and can be implemented in practice in the near future.
“We are interested in a genuine peace and are in constant contact with America”, — Volodymyr Zelenskyi stressed.
Ukraine’s position on Peace steps
The Head of State also noted that the success of any initiatives will depend on whether Russia is ready to take effective steps to stop the bloodshed and prevent further escalation of the war.
Ukraine is finalizing the relevant documents and plans to submit them to the American side in the near future.
