President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi and Prime Minister of Canada Mark Carney discussed, in a phone call, the development of steps necessary to end the war and the diplomatic work with partners.

Volodymyr Zelenskyi reported this on social media.

“I am grateful for the willingness to help. I informed him about the situation in Ukraine, on the frontline, and regarding the strengthening of our resilience”, — the Head of State said in the statement.

The President also thanked Canada for its significant contribution to the PURL program, which enables Ukraine to purchase American weapons to protect lives, including air defense systems.

“We will continue to coordinate with Canada and the Prime Minister”, — Volodymyr Zelenskyi concluded.
