Volodymyr Zelenskyy heard a report from the delegation on the negotiations in the United States, which were conducted on the basis of the revised Geneva document. The President instructed them to continue constructive work with Donald Trump’s team and with European partners.

This was stated in the message of President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

REPORT AFTER THE NEGOTIATIONS IN THE U.S.

The President heard a detailed report from Rustem Umerov and the participants of the negotiations in Florida. The Ukrainian side presented the key points raised by the American partners, as well as the clarifications added to the Geneva document.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy informed the delegation about his contacts with European leaders and with Steve Witkoff during his visit to Paris.

THE FRONTLINE, GUARANTEES, AND RISKS OF SABOTAGING AGREEMENTS

General Andriy Hnatov joined the meeting; he briefed the American partners on the operational situation at the front and possible scenarios for its development. Security guarantees, risks of agreements being derailed after a ceasefire, and protection from Russian strikes were discussed separately.

The President warned that Russia has already launched new disinformation campaigns in connection with preparations for upcoming meetings with the American side. Intelligence will provide partners with assessments of the Kremlin’s real intentions.

NEXT STEPS

Volodymyr Zelenskyy instructed that work with Donald Trump’s team continue at the most constructive level.

“Ukraine takes all diplomatic efforts extremely seriously: we are interested in a genuine peace and in security guarantees”, — the President emphasized.

The Secretary of the National Security and Defence Council will remain in constant contact with the United States to determine the schedule of further consultations.
