President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy discussed with German Chancellor Friedrich Merz the progress of negotiations aimed at ending the war.
This is stated in the message published by the Head of State on his Telegram channel.
“Germany has been helping us from the very beginning of this war — militarily, financially, and politically. Thank you that here in Ukraine we can always rely on German leadership and support”, — Volodymyr Zelenskyy noted.
The President of Ukraine shared the latest details of the work on steps toward ending the war, which continues in coordination with all partners.
“Yesterday, the Ukrainian team returned from Geneva, provided a full report and an updated framework document. Communication with the American side continues, and I am grateful for all the efforts of the United States and personally President Trump”, — the Head of State said.
The leaders of Ukraine and Germany discussed the development of the situation and coordinated the next steps. They also touched upon the agenda of today’s meeting of the Coalition of the Willing, which Germany will co-chair.
