The Armed Forces of Ukraine successfully used ATACMS tactical missile systems for a precision strike on military facilities located on the territory of Russia.
This was stated in a report by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The General Staff called this a “significant event” and announced that the use of long-range strike capabilities will continue. The military emphasized that this strike demonstrates Ukraine’s unwavering commitment to its sovereignty.
“Despite the constant challenges of Russian offensives, Ukrainians remain resilient, demonstrating determination to defend their Homeland persistently and systematically”, — the statement reads.
The General Staff also outlined further plans regarding the use of Western weaponry:
“The use of long-range strike capabilities, including systems such as ATACMS, will continue”.
