The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, General Oleksandr Syrskyi, held a working meeting on the development of unmanned systems in the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

This was reported on the Commander-in-Chief’s page.

77,000 TARGETS IN OCTOBER

According to Oleksandr Syrskyi, the buildup of unmanned forces’ capabilities has led to a significant increase in strikes against the enemy.

“In October our aviation unmanned complexes struck 77 thousand enemy targets. The best combat results were shown by FPV drones and heavy bomber systems”, — the general reported.

THE ROLE OF GROUND ROBOTIC COMPLEXES: 300,000 KG OF LOGISTICS

Oleksandr Syrskyi emphasized that ground robotic complexes (GRCs) increasingly perform logistical and evacuation tasks, saving the lives of personnel.

“The primary task of GRCs is to save the lives of fighters. In October ground complexes delivered almost 300 thousand kilograms of provisions to our units”, — the Commander-in-Chief noted.

He added that today GRCs are also used for evacuating the wounded, for mining, and for combat tasks.

“OCCUPIERS ARE COPYING OUR EXPERIENCE”

At the meeting an intelligence report was heard: the enemy is copying Ukrainian experience by creating regiments of unmanned systems and interceptor drones.

“The occupiers copy our approaches and spend significant resources on creating their own unmanned systems units. We must constantly improve to maintain our technological advantage”, — Oleksandr Syrskyi remarked.

TWICE AS MANY EW SYSTEMS

The Commander-in-Chief also noted the growth in Ukrainian electronic warfare capabilities.

“In October twice as many short-range EW systems were delivered to the front compared with September. We are working on both the quantity and quality of stations”, — he said.

The meeting emphasized scaling up the Unmanned Systems Forces: training additional crews, building infrastructure, and implementing tactics resilient to EW.
