On the night of 3 November 2025, units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine struck the Saratov oil refinery in Saratov Oblast of the Russian Federation.
This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
A hit on the facility and a fire were recorded in the area of the ELOU-AVT-6 refinery units complex.
The Saratov refinery is one of Russia’s oldest oil-processing enterprises. As of 2023, its throughput amounted to 4.8 million tonnes. The enterprise is involved in supplying the needs of the Russian Armed Forces.
Fire damage was also inflicted on the occupiers’ logistical facilities on the territory of temporarily occupied Luhansk region.
In particular, a warehouse of materiel and technical supplies in the settlement of Rozkishne and a mobile stock of fuel and lubricants in Dovzhansk were struck.
The Defense Forces are consistently implementing a set of measures to strike critical elements of the terrorist state’s military-industrial base in order to deprive it of the ability to continue its aggression.
