During the night of Wednesday, October 29, the Special Operations Forces (SOF) of the Armed Forces of Ukraine carried out strikes on three strategic enemy targets located in different regions of the Russian Federation.
According to the SOF, Deep Strike units hit important oil and gas infrastructure facilities belonging to the aggressor state, where explosions and fires were recorded.
Among the targets were:
“The Mari Oil Refinery is a critical infrastructure facility for the Republic of Mari El. The plant produces ten types of petroleum products and has an annual processing capacity of 1.6 million tons of oil. The Novospassk Oil Refinery manufactures key petroleum products such as diesel fuel, gasoline, and fuel oil, with a capacity of 600,000 tons of oil per year. The Budennovsk Gas Processing Plant has a designed capacity of 2.2 billion cubic meters of gas per year. It supplies gas to the Budennovsk Combined Heat and Power Plant, to PJSC Lukoil enterprises in the region, and serves as a raw material source for the petrochemical industry,” — the report said.
