Over the past day, Russian occupation forces have lost 730 personnel and 718 units of various equipment, including five tanks and 35 artillery systems.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this on Friday, October 17.

Thus, the total combat losses of the enemy from February 24, 2022, to October 17, 2025, are approximately as follows:

  • personnel — 1,128,030 (+730) eliminated
  • tanks — 11,266 (+5)
  • armored combat vehicles — 23,394 (+10)
  • artillery systems — 33,748 (+35)
  • MLRS — 1,520 (0)
  • air defense systems — 1,228 (+1)
  • aircraft — 427 (0)
  • helicopters — 346 (0)
  • operational-tactical UAVs — 71,025 (+588)
  • cruise missiles — 3,864 (+5)
  • warships / boats — 28 (0)
  • submarines — 1 (0)
  • vehicles and fuel tankers — 64,541 (+73)
  • special equipment — 3,978 (+1)
