A Ukrainian government delegation headed by Prime Minister Yuliia Svyrydenko has begun its work in the United States as part of the annual meetings of the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank, which are taking place from October 13 to 18.
The head of the government announced this on her official page.
“We are working in the United States together with the government team, the Governor of the National Bank of Ukraine Andrii Pyshnyi, and representatives of Naftogaz”, — noted Yuliia Svyrydenko.
According to her, the Ukrainian delegation is thoroughly informing partners about the consequences of the latest Russian attacks on energy facilities, particularly during the night of October 14.
“We are working on attracting new resources and support”, — emphasized the Prime Minister.
According to the President’s instructions, the priorities of the visit include energy, sanctions, and the development of cooperation with the United States in new areas.
The delegation has scheduled meetings with representatives of the IMF, World Bank, EBRD, European Investment Bank, as well as with the finance ministers of the United States and G7 countries.
