On Sunday, October 12, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky held talks with his American counterpart, Donald Trump.
He shared the results of their phone conversation on his social media accounts.
“I’ve just spoken with U.S. President Donald Trump — for the second time in two days — and today’s conversation was also very productive”, — the Ukrainian leader reported.
He recalled that yesterday the two sides had already reached agreements on “certain topics for today.”
“And we went through all these aspects of the situation — protecting lives in our country, strengthening both our air defense and our resilience, as well as our long-range capabilities. There were many details regarding the energy sector. President Trump is well-informed about everything that’s happening. We agreed to continue our dialogue, and our teams are preparing for it”, — Volodymyr Zelensky said.
