President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a phone conversation with Prime Minister of Canada Mark Carney.
The President of Ukraine reported this on social media.
“We shared details of our contacts with President Trump. I informed him about the situation on the battlefield and told him about Russia’s insidious strikes against our energy infrastructure and people”, – the Head of State said.
The parties discussed concrete steps that could help protect against attacks and strengthen the resilience of the energy system.
“We separately touched upon the PURL initiative. Canada has already made a significant contribution, and there is potential to expand its participation in the program”, – Volodymyr Zelenskyy noted.
The President and the Prime Minister also discussed joint work within the coalition of the willing. They coordinated further steps, and strengthening of the practical dimension of this format is planned.
“Thank you, Mark, for the conversation and for your readiness to work meaningfully in all areas”, – the President of Ukraine concluded.
