Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, General Oleksandr Syrskyi, reported that he worked with military command organs and units operating on the Dobropilskyi, Siverskyi and Lyman directions.
This was stated in a message on the Telegram channel.
“As for the latter: the situation in the area of the populated place Yampil has been stabilized. Units of the Special Operations Forces, formations of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the National Guard of Ukraine are conducting strike-and-search operations in the settlement to detect and destroy the remnants of the enemy’s sabotage groups”, — the statement says.
According to him, on the Dobropilskyi direction the effectiveness of striking enemy concentration areas is increasing, and we are destroying its logistics. Total enemy losses in this sector over the day amount to 47 personnel, of which irrecoverable — 32.
Oleksandr Syrskyi reported that since the start of the counteroffensive operation on the Dobropillia direction the Russians have lost about 3,520 personnel, of whom 1,988 were destroyed. Also, 991 units of enemy weapons and military equipment have been struck or destroyed.
“Together with commanders on the ground, I analyzed details of the operational situation and proposals to increase the effectiveness of the combat work of our formations, units and subunits”, — added the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces.
