Why can’t the war be won with drones alone, and what role do assault units play in modern warfare? How…
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that more than 132,000 foreign components have been found in Russian missiles, unmanned aerial vehicles and guided aerial bombs with which the Russian Federation literally attacks our country every day.
He reported this on his social media on Sunday, September 21.
“Right now we are defending ourselves from Russian attacks almost every day. This week there were over 1,500 strike drones, more than 1,280 guided aerial bombs and 50 missiles of various types. Thousands of foreign components have been found in these weapons — more than 132,000 — from different countries. Europe, America, China, Japan and dozens of others,” — the Head of State said.
According to him, it is precisely because of this that the Russian Federation can continue to produce its weapons on such a large scale.
“All for the sake of terror against our people. And if Russia is not stopped, this will definitely become a threat to the countries of Europe and the Pacific region. Strong sanctions are a tool that will help stop this. It is necessary to cut off all possible supply routes and methods of evading sanctions, to put pressure on countries and individual companies that assist them. Partners have this power — a power that must protect lives. We expect that the 19th package of EU sanctions will be truly painful and that the United States will join the Europeans,” — Volodymyr Zelenskyy added.
