Ukraine’s Minister of Defense Denys Shmyhal, during a meeting with U.S. Chargé d’Affaires in Ukraine Julie Davis and a delegation from the U.S. International Development Finance Corporation (DFC), discussed prospects for launching new joint enterprises and large-scale investment projects.
The head of the defense ministry reported this on his official page.
“I held a productive meeting… I expressed gratitude for the comprehensive support from the United States. Ukraine highly values military and economic cooperation with our strategic partner”, — noted Denys Shmyhal.
The parties focused on the next steps in the development of the defense industry.
“Manufacturers from the United States are showing significant interest in cooperation with Ukraine. I thank our partners for the constructive dialogue and their readiness to advance our cooperation”, — the minister concluded.
