In the Huliaipole sector, in the city of Huliaipole itself, heavy or light armored equipment is rarely used for attacks. The assaults are carried out by infantry trying to quickly hide in the city and avoid Ukrainian drones.
This was reported during the “United News” telethon by an operator of the 428th Separate Battalion of Unmanned Systems with the call sign “Hadiuka” (“Viper”).
According to him, the enemy continues pressing with small infantry groups, trying to quickly cross the “kill zone” to enter Huliaipole. Such groups are detected in advance and destroyed on the approaches to the city, because finding assault troops among streets turned into ruins is much more difficult.
“To an ordinary viewer it may seem that a building is completely destroyed, but believe me — there are plenty of hiding spots to set up a position and fight from there. One must understand that large amounts of reinforced concrete interfere with drones. It’s very difficult to operate with analog systems; the drones constantly lose connection. So we try to use other means”, — the operator said.
The enemy is attempting to develop the production of naval drones and copy successful Ukrainian practices — both technical solutions and tactics.
Fighting continues in the northern part of the city of Pokrovsk in the Pokrovsk direction. A mechanized assault was repelled there the day before.
