Operators of ground robotic systems of the 47th Separate Mechanized Brigade “Magura” carried out a unique operation — they managed to evacuate three wounded soldiers at once from positions.
This was reported on the brigade’s Facebook page.
Weather conditions were favorable — rain and fog — but at the same time complicated the movement of the UGV, as it had to be guided blindly by coordinates.
“The thoughts were to go out and drag the guys out. I was worried they wouldn’t bleed out,” says “Chak”, — a machine gunner of the 2nd Mechanized Battalion.
One wounded serviceman could not move independently, another could walk only with the help of a fellow soldier. The third sustained a light injury and coordinated actions during the evacuation.
As previously reported by ArmyInform, a mission planning and reporting mechanism for ground robotic complexes was launched in the DELTA combat digital ecosystem.
Accounting of evacuation missions was also introduced. About 60 such operations have already been verified. The bonus program for evacuating one wounded soldier provides 70 to 120 points, depending on mission complexity.
