This was discussed during an Army TV livestream by Maksym “Kondor” Bohachuk, Commander of the 1st Unmanned Systems Battalion “Predators of the Heights” of the 59th Assault Unmanned Systems Brigade named after Yakiv Handziuk.
“There are currently many different types of rewards. Starting from rewards in e-points for killing the enemy — which can later be exchanged for equipment — to monetary rewards. In principle, there are now monetary payments for destroyed equipment. Operators receive them regularly. There are also various bonuses for operators based on certificates”, — Bohachuk said.
According to him, receiving such payments depends on the command of the respective unit.
“If the command prepares the document package on time and submits it to higher headquarters, the serviceman receives the payment for destroyed equipment within one or two months”, — Bohachuk explained.
He also clarified that not only the pilot is eligible for the reward.
“A crew is not just the operator. A full crew consists of 4–5, sometimes 6 servicemen. And regardless of which pilot actually hit the target, when we are talking about destroyed equipment, the entire crew receives the reward.
Additionally, both men and women receive bonuses based on the execution of combat missions on the frontline. Depending on where and how they carry out their tasks, they can receive from 30,000 to 170,000 hryvnias per month”, — Bohachuk added.
