The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine’s Defense Procurement Agency has expanded the list of equipment supplied through DOT-Chain Defence. From now on, brigades will be able to choose and receive assets to counter enemy Shahed drones. Currently, such drones are available under the “Army of Drones Bonus” program.
This was reported by the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine on December 31.
“Soldiers will be able to independently choose and quickly receive means to counter enemy Shaheds. We continue to expand digital tools that give the Ukrainian military the necessary speed and flexibility in supplying everything needed”, — said Minister of Defense of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal.
The prioritization of drone contracting was based on a survey of military personnel regarding their needs and an assessment of the effectiveness of specific systems.
“We are changing the logic of the supply process, focusing not only on delivering equipment to the military, but also on feedback from them and their expertise.
The team of the Defense Procurement Agency conducted a survey among servicemen to identify interceptor drone models they use and consider the most effective.
We are primarily trying to sign contracts with manufacturers of such systems”, — said Director of the Defense Procurement Agency Arsen Zhumadilov.
This is already the second type of interceptor drones that will be supplied to the military via DOT-Chain Defence.
In autumn, the Agency added tactical-level interceptor drones to the weapons marketplace to counter enemy reconnaissance and strike UAVs on the front line.
Overall, within the framework of supplying the military using the Agency’s IT system, contracts have been signed with six manufacturers of this type of UAV.
As of the end of December, nearly 5,000 interceptor drones had been delivered to the military via DOT-Chain Defence.

“Army of Drones Bonus” is a motivational program for supplying the Defense Forces with equipment, based on the integration of the IT systems Delta, DOT-Chain Defence, and Brave1 Market. It operates as follows:
- Military units receive points awarded for destroying and hitting enemy targets and exchange them for drones and equipment needed to perform combat missions in Brave1 Market via authorization in DELTA.
- The supply process is implemented by the Defense Procurement Agency through the DOT-Chain Defence digital system, which forms contracts with manufacturers and coordinates the direct delivery of drones and other equipment to units.
