On the Lyman axis, the enemy is trying to make maximum use of deteriorating weather conditions, using fog and snowfall to covertly advance toward the positions of Ukraine’s Defense Forces.

This was stated on Army TV by the head of the UAV group of the tank battalion of the 66th Separate Mechanized Brigade named after Prince Mstyslav the Brave, call sign “Bizon.”

“The situation is consistently difficult — we constantly feel enemy pressure, constant assaults and attacks. There are no, so to speak, days off — every day, every night, especially when weather conditions worsen, they always push forward, and we detect them. Fog, snowfall — this is how they try to get closer to our positions, but we spot them”, — he said.

FPV drones are primarily used to destroy the enemy, while heavy armored vehicles are employed less frequently. However, the brigade’s tank crews remain on full combat readiness to engage enemy columns.

“Tank duels as such practically do not occur. It’s very rare. But our tank crews are always on duty and always ready to roll out against enemy columns, which have also become more active recently”, —“Bizon” added.
