President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a telephone conversation with Prime Minister of Denmark Mette Frederiksen. During the conversation, the parties discussed in detail the current situation in the negotiation process, and the Head of State informed her about the key aspects of Ukraine’s negotiating position.

The Head of State reported this on social media.

The President emphasized that Ukraine is constructively cooperating with the United States and considers it necessary to maintain this format of interaction, as it is precisely constructiveness that strengthens Ukraine’s arguments and contributes to achieving real results aimed at ending the war.

The President stressed that Russia must realize that responsibility for undermining peace and prolonging the war lies solely with Moscow, and that the international community’s response to this will be tough.

The Head of State thanked Denmark for its consistent support for Ukraine, noting that it is an important contribution not only to Ukraine’s defense but also to the security of all of Europe. Zelenskyy also separately noted Denmark’s presidency of the European Union, during which a number of significant decisions were adopted, including on financial and security support for Ukraine totaling 90 billion.

The parties agreed to continue close cooperation and work toward bringing the practical implementation of security guarantees closer — both in the bilateral format with the United States and together with European partners.
