In the autumn of 2025, fighters of the 3rd Assault Battalion of the 225th Separate Assault Regiment, in cooperation with units of the 20th Army Corps, conducted a prolonged offensive-defensive operation in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, as a result of which five settlements were liberated.

This was reported in a publication by the 225th Separate Assault Regiment.

The operation lasted more than 100 days. Throughout this period, assault troops continuously held their positions, repelled enemy attacks, and conducted counterattacks with gradual advancement. According to available information, this is a unique case where a single unit conducted active combat operations for more than three consecutive months without rotation, without losing initiative.

All servicemembers who participated in the liberation of the settlements have been nominated for state awards.

In the near future, the regiment plans to publish individual stories of fighters — firsthand accounts of the course of battles, losses, decisions, and the cost of this advance.
