President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with President of Poland Karol Nawrocki to discuss the security situation, including all issues related to war and diplomacy.

This was stated in his message on December 19.

“I am glad to be in Poland again on an official visit. I am grateful to President Nawrocki for our conversation and truly hope that this visit opens a new, even more substantial stage in our relations — between Ukraine and Poland—not merely as neighbors, but as two European pillars without which there can be no freedom and no reliable security in our part of Europe”, — he wrote.

According to him, Ukrainian independence and Polish independence are the foundation that enables every nation in this part of Europe to live freely, without Moscow’s dominance.

“That is why it is important that we cooperate, support one another, and coordinate in defending Europe and our peoples. I am grateful to Poland for its very tangible and strong support for Ukraine and Ukrainians from the very beginning of the invasion, and traditionally throughout all the years since the restoration of our independent state in 1991”, — the President concluded.
