In 2025, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, through the State Rear Operator, procured and supplied to military units more than 30,000 sets of field uniforms for female servicemembers, including 500 sets of enhanced-durability uniforms (Class 13) designed for performing tasks in difficult conditions.
The Ministry of Defense reported this on December 15.
In addition, the Ministry procured and supplied more than 100,000 items of underwear. Various types of underwear were developed taking into account seasonality and operating conditions.
“As of the end of 2025, the need of female servicemembers for field uniforms and underwear has been fully met. This was achieved through centralized procurement of specialized uniforms and underwear designed with consideration of women’s physiological characteristics”, — the statement said.
As noted by the Ministry of Defense, all uniforms feature a specialized cut and high-quality materials, which ensure comfort and functionality during mission execution.
“The procurement covered a wide range of sizes to ensure that every female servicemember is provided for. This is an important step toward creating a barrier-free environment in the Armed Forces”, — the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine emphasized.
