Combined strike: Russia launched ballistic missiles and over 150 UAVs at Ukraine

On the night of December 11, the enemy carried out a combined strike on Ukraine’s critical infrastructure using strike UAVs and ground-launched missiles.

This was reported by the Ukrainian Air Force.

In total, the Air Force’s radio-technical troops detected and tracked 154 aerial attack assets, including:

  • 3 Iskander-M/KN-23 ballistic missiles;

  • 151 strike UAVs of the Shahed and Gerbera types (about 120 of them were Shaheds).

The main direction of the strike was Kremenchuk, in Poltava region. The enemy also struck Odessa region and frontline territories.

The air assault was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units, UAV units, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.

As of 10:00, air defense had shot down and suppressed 85 aerial targets:

  • 83 enemy UAVs of the Shahed and Gerbera types (other UAV types);

  • 2 Iskander-M/KN-23 ballistic missiles.

“Hits of 69 strike UAVs and one Iskander-M/KN-23 ballistic missile were recorded at 34 locations”, —  the report states.
