In the coming days, consultations will be held with partners regarding the steps necessary to end the war. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy signed a decree approving the composition of the Ukrainian delegation and the relevant directives, emphasizing the need to prevent a new act of aggression by Russia in the future.

This is stated in a message published on the page of President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

DIRECTIVES AND THE COMPOSITION OF THE DELEGATION

The Head of State announced the signing of a decree defining the composition of the delegation and approving all necessary directives for the negotiators.

The delegation includes:

  • Andriy Yermak — Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, head of the delegation

  • Rustem Umerov — Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine

  • Kyrylo Budanov — Chief of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine

  • Andriy Hnatov — Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine

  • Oleh Ivashchenko — Head of the Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine

  • Sergiy Kyslytsya — First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine

  • Yevheniy Ostryanskyi — First Deputy Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine

  • Oleksandr Poklad — Deputy Head of the Security Service of Ukraine

  • Oleksandr Bevz — Adviser to the Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine

“Our representatives know how to defend Ukrainian national interests and what exactly is needed to ensure that Russia does not carry out a third invasion, another strike against Ukraine — just as in the past it repeatedly committed crimes against our people”, — Zelenskyy emphasized.

PEACE BASED ON JUSTICE

The President stressed that this is about more than separate points of a document. The main goal is to prevent the establishment in the world of a principle that rewards crimes against humanity.

“Real peace is always based on guaranteed security and on justice. And this feeling is not only mine — I know this is the feeling of millions of our people and of the majority of people around the world”, — Volodymyr Zelenskyy concluded.
