On October 15, a meeting of the Ukraine Defense Contact Group (in the “Ramstein” format) will take place in Brussels.

The session will be held on the sidelines of the meeting of NATO defense ministers. Ukraine’s Minister of Defense, Denys Shmyhal, will take part in the “Ramstein” meeting.
In the second half of the day, a press conference is also scheduled with Denys Shmyhal and the defense ministers of Germany and the United Kingdom.
In addition, an informal meeting of the NATO–Ukraine Council will also take place in Brussels today.
During the “Ramstein” session, a number of allied countries are expected to announce their contributions under the PURL program, which enables the purchase of U.S.-made weapons for Ukraine funded by partner nations.
