Ukraine’s Minister of Defence Denys Shmyhal acquainted the Prime Minister of the Netherlands, Dick Schoof, with the work of one of the country’s leading manufacturers of domestic unmanned systems.
He reported this on Monday, October 6, on his social media.
“The enterprise combines several modern production sites and has already established serial production of kamikaze drones in various configurations — both FPV quadcopters and fixed-wing types. The company has its own design bureau and an R&D team working on new technologies for the front. It also has a partner R&D laboratory jointly with European colleagues, including from the Netherlands”, — the head of the Ministry of Defence said.
He added that cooperation with Ukrainian drone manufacturers is capable of strengthening European defence.
“We expect that more and more foreign partners will establish production and technology development together with Ukrainian defence-industry companies. This is an opportunity to create advanced weaponry and to strengthen Europe’s security”, — Denys Shmyhal said.
