Ukraine’s Minister of Defense Denys Shmyhal took foreign partners on a tour of one of the country’s innovative defense enterprises, where today weapon systems are being developed that are truly changing the course of the war.
This was reported in the Minister of Defense’s social media post.
Together with Estonia’s Minister of Defense Hanno Pevkur, Canada’s Minister of Transport and Domestic Trade Chrystia Freeland, as well as members of the Supervisory Board of the Munich Security Conference, the Ukrainian minister introduced the guests to the latest developments of the domestic defense industry.
“It is here, in Ukraine, that innovative weapons are being created which protect our soldiers and change the course of the war”, — emphasized Denys Shmyhal.
He stressed that Ukraine is ready to share its experience and, together with partners, scale up defense projects that will strengthen security not only for Ukraine but for the whole of Europe.
The minister called on international investors to invest in Ukraine’s defense-industrial complex and to establish joint production.
“Together we can raise the level of security on the European continent”, — he added.
