Fuel tankers, S-400 systems, and an oil depot: Unmanned Systems Forces launch a series of strikes against critical targets deep behind enemy lines
During the night of 6 July, the Unmanned Systems Forces (USF) struck 47 military targets deep inside Russian-held territory.
This was announced by Major Robert “Madyar” Brovdi, Commander of the Unmanned Systems Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Among the highest-priority targets were two fuel tankers in the Sea of Azov, transporting fuel from the Taganrog area to temporarily occupied Crimea.
According to the commander, each vessel was carrying approximately 7,000 tonnes of fuel, equivalent to about 200 railway tank cars.
The Project 15781 tankers were struck by operators of the 9th Kairos Battalion of the 414th Separate Brigade “Madyar’s Birds” of the Unmanned Systems Forces, in coordination with the Ukrainian Navy.
Ukrainian drones also struck an oil depot in Kerch.
Another target was the Russian Nebo-U radar station near Kerch. It was hit by Unit 13 of the 414th Separate Brigade “Madyar’s Birds”.
Two S-400 Triumf surface-to-air missile systems were also struck. One was hit near Hlazivka on the temporarily occupied Crimean Peninsula, while the second was targeted near Kosenky in Russia’s Bryansk Region. The second strike was carried out by operators of the 413th Separate Regiment “Raid” of the Unmanned Systems Forces.
According to Robert Brovdi, Russian forces used these systems not only for air defense but also to launch missiles against ground targets during their large-scale strikes on Ukraine.
