For about two weeks, the occupiers have not used equipment during assaults on the Huliaipole axis.

However, the weather is gradually improving, and Defense Forces units expect an increase in enemy activity.

This was stated during an Army TV stream on March 11 by Artem, head of unmanned systems of the 33rd Separate Assault Regiment.

— In our sector, the last assault involving equipment was about two weeks ago. I think you saw it — it was an attempt to drive a Ural truck with 18 personnel into dense fog near Dobropillia.

Our observation systems detected the enemy movement in time, even in fog at ultra-low altitudes. Fire was opened both by our forces and by adjacent units.

The enemy did not even manage to reach the outskirts of Dobropillia. Both the vehicle and all personnel were destroyed.

There have been no such attempts in the past two weeks on our axis, he said.

At the same time, fishing rods and Russian tricolor flags were found in the backpacks of almost every eliminated occupier — apparently the enemy fighters had been tasked with staging a propaganda photo session.

Weather conditions are now improving, so Ukrainian defenders expect the enemy to intensify activity on the Huliaipole axis and are ready for it.

— The weather has improved, there is no fog anymore, the temperature is warm, and the ground is drying.

So we are waiting and ready. If such attempts occur in the future, we will successfully repel them, the serviceman assured.
