On the Huliaipole axis, drone operators of the Phoenix border guard unit burned two MT-LB armored vehicles and an unidentified armored vehicle that could not be

The occupiers covered it with additional protection so densely that the drone operators could not determine what exactly they had destroyed.

This was reported in an exclusive comment to ArmyInform by the Main Department of Unmanned Aerial Systems “Phoenix” of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine.

— If we talk about armored vehicles that the pilots of the Phoenix unit managed to hit on the Huliaipole axis, first of all we can mention two MT-LB units.

This is a relatively light and maneuverable armored tractor that the enemy quite often uses to deliver infantry to the front line or to evacuate other equipment previously hit by Ukraine’s Defense Forces, — the unit reported.

The “motolygas” were destroyed while the enemy attempted to use them to deliver troops to the front line.

The first was detected and eliminated while it was moving toward the mission, while the second was tracked during its return.

In both cases, Phoenix drone operators burned the enemy armored vehicles to the ground so that the occupiers could not use them.

— One unit was stopped by a precise FPV drone strike at the moment when it was still moving toward the mission.

After that, Phoenix pilots finished off the vehicle so that the enemy could not take advantage of more favorable conditions and evacuate it in the future.

As for the second MT-LB, Phoenix aerial reconnaissance tracked the landing of troops in one of the forest belts, after which the armored vehicle tried to return to its deployment point.

With a heavy “Vampire” bomber our operators eliminated the enemy landing party, while FPV drones managed to catch up with and destroy the armored vehicle itself, — Phoenix reported.

Border-guard drone operators also destroyed an unknown Russian “shushpanzer”, which could not be identified because of welded additional protection.

It is clear that the Russians tried very hard to protect their vehicle from Ukrainian drones, but this did not save the enemy from the experienced Phoenix pilots.

— Among other things, a “grilled” armored vehicle was destroyed, the classification of which could not be reliably established: due to the dense protection it was simply impossible to identify it.

During additional reconnaissance, Phoenix pilots only confirmed that the armored vehicle was indeed destroyed and could not be identified due to severe damage, — the unit reported.
