In the “Kremlin Mouthpieces” section of the War&Sanctions portal, information has been published about individuals who publicly support and justify Russia’s arm
This was reported by the Defence Intelligence of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine.
These include artists, journalists, writers, and media figures who systematically promote Kremlin narratives, legitimize war crimes, and cooperate with Russia’s ruling regime and occupation administrations in temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine.
Among the published individuals are:
- Sergey Aleksandrovich Mikheev — Russian political scientist, radio and TV host, member of the Central Council of the “A Just Russia” party. In public statements, he denies Ukraine’s right to exist, insisting that along the border with Russia there “must be scorched earth, a dead zone”, and that the city of Sumy “must be wiped off the face of the earth”.
- Maksim Aleksandrovich Kalashnikov (Vladimir Aleksandrovich Kucherenko) — journalist, writer, producer of the “Roy TV” YouTube channel, member of the Izborsk Club and author of anti-Ukrainian books, including Independent Ukraine: The Collapse of a Project. In his works he systematically calls for the elimination of Ukrainian independence.
- Roman Yuryevich Antonovsky — blogger, writer, propagandist for the “Tsargrad” TV channel, author of the Telegram channel “Sons of the Monarchy”, which promotes the “Russian World” concept and justifies the annexation of Ukrainian territories. In his book Alpha Male. Hit Them, President, he portrays Putin as a “superhero” and “savior of the empire”.
As of today, the “Kremlin Mouthpieces” section of the War&Sanctions portal contains information about 176 representatives of Russia’s propaganda machine. They justify Russia’s aggression and war crimes, manipulate socially significant information, spread disinformation about events on the front line, and influence public opinion in various regions of the world.
Ukraine’s Defence Intelligence and the Center for Countering Disinformation call on partner states to apply personal sanctions against representatives of Russia’s propaganda apparatus, including: restricting entry, freezing financial assets, and ending media and commercial cooperation.
