Volodymyr Zelensky thanked the Ukrainian air-defense forces, which demonstrated excellent results: they shot down more than 30 Russian missiles.
He said this in his address.
“Most of them were aimed specifically at the energy sector; we managed to protect very important facilities. Regarding Shaheds, we also have results. Every night — yes, every night — when our air defense has a sufficient ammunition supply and when partners fulfill what we agreed upon, we achieve these kinds of results and shootdowns. In recent weeks, the Air Forces of the Armed Forces have begun to work better — we managed to restructure some things in the system, specifically in organizing defense against such massive strikes”, — Zelensky noted.
He thanked the command, the Minister of Energy, the Minister of Defense, and everyone involved at both the central and regional levels to ensure the air-defense system works.
“Today I signed a decree awarding state honors to our military who defend the sky. I want to thank all of you: army aviation, SAM units, mobile fire groups, everyone involved”, — Zelensky said.
