Volodymyr Zelensky Awards New Military Ranks to the Commander of the Air Assault Forces and the Deputy Head of the President’s Office

On February 24, President Volodymyr Zelensky signed decrees awarding new military ranks.

The relevant decrees were published on the website of the head of state.

The Commander of the Air Assault Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Brigadier General Oleh Apostol, was awarded the rank of Major General.

The Deputy Head of the President’s Office, Colonel Pavlo Palisia, was awarded the rank of Brigadier General.

The Commander of the 15th Army Corps of Operational Command “West” of the Ground Forces, Colonel Ruslan Shevchuk, was awarded the rank of Brigadier General.

In addition, the Commander of the 17th Army Corps of Operational Command “South” of the Ground Forces, Colonel Yaroslav Sydorov, was awarded the rank of Brigadier General.
