The Minister of Defense of Ukraine met with the Minister of Defense of Denmark Troels Lund Poulsen during his visit to Kyiv.
This was written on February 24 by the Minister of Defense of Ukraine, Mykhailo Fedorov.
“Today, together with Denmark and the ‘Come Back Alive’ Foundation, we are launching an infrastructure project to modernize one of the training centers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Denmark is investing around €33 million in training infrastructure, living and sanitary conditions, equipment, and drones for training. The ‘Come Back Alive’ Foundation, which consistently invests in training and preparation of service members, is the implementation partner”, — Fedorov reported.
As the minister noted, the project includes a comprehensive upgrade of infrastructure at one of the Armed Forces’ training centers. This will improve comfort and safety for service members who undergo training at the facility.
“To achieve our wartime goals, we must transform the training system of Ukrainian service members. Quality training means fewer losses and greater effectiveness. The modernization of a training center is one of the first steps in this direction”, — the minister emphasized.
Mykhailo Fedorov expressed gratitude to the Ministry of Defense of Denmark and the “Come Back Alive” Foundation, calling it an example of strategic enhancement of military training capabilities in Ukraine with partner support.
