“Moscow continues investing in strikes more than in diplomacy… That’s why we must strengthen our air defense. We need systems that work effectively against ballistic threats. I thank all partners who help us obtain air defense missiles through PURL and through their own supplies. Every such package protects critical infrastructure and preserves normal life”, — the President said.
He added that liquidation of the consequences of the night attack continues. Nearly 300 strike drones — most of them Shaheds — and 50 missiles of various types, many ballistic, were fired at Ukraine.
“They hit Kyiv and the region, Dnipro region, Kirovohrad region, Mykolaiv region, Odesa region, Poltava region, Sumy region. Unfortunately, a person died in Fastiv district. My condolences to the family. Eight people were injured, including one child. The main target was energy infrastructure; residential buildings and railway facilities were also damaged”, — he added.
